At Hotelbeds/Bedsonline, as the demand for travel returns, we want to support your business stay on top of the trends as corridors begin to open up again.
The Compass harnesses our live data intelligence and aggregates all the bookings received across our wholesale and retail businesses in the last two weeks to identify the trending destinations in each country of origin.
For each country, the tool updates daily to list the top 20 trending destinations by volume of bookings.
For each destination, the tool also displays the growth trend represented by a colored arrow:
- Orange arrow: indicates moderate growth
- Green arrow: indicates high growth
- Blue arrow: indicates very high growth
Additionally, by clicking on a destination, a pop-up window shows you the lead times and two different sets of data:
- Growth trend: Also indicated by a colored arrow, but separated per lead time category.
- Split: The total volume for that destination split per lead time category.
From prices and Markup functionality: 'From prices' shown are based on cheapest net prices (excluding commission, city tax or resort fees) found for short-, mid-, and long-term availability. Please make a search on our booking engine to see prices for specific dates."
