As we continue to see strong recovery in many parts of our region, it’s Mexico that is stealing a march when it comes to trading performance, recording growth of around 40% compared to 2019, a trend that is also being seen in other destinations too, including the USA, the Caribbean and Brazil!

With positive increases in room night production compared to 2019 and with positive predictions for continued growth in future months, the most popular destinations are proving to be Cancun, Riviera Maya, Puerto Vallarta & Los Cabos with 96% of our bookings coming from our direct contracts and direct integrations.

Our post-COVID strategy of focusing on domestic corridors – which is where our data clearly showed the greatest potential for recovery and growth –  has meant we are seeing much stronger performance than in other parts of the world currently.

Lauren Volcheff Atlass, Americas Sales Director at Hotelbeds, said: “In recent months, we have consistently managed to significantly increase growth, particularly in Mexico, where we have recorded a significant growth in roomnights for the last weeks.

These impressive results have been achieved through an unwavering focus on initiatives designed to enhance our domestic offering as well as through the excellent partnerships we have with Xcaret Mexico, Oasis Hotels, Golden Parnassus, Blue Bay, Hard Rock Hotels and others.

We are confident that our solid business model and focused local teams that work closely with our partners will ensure a strong and sustained pipeline of growth.”
